Want to make a real difference to student life at ARU? Passionate about improving teaching, placements, timetables, and the overall academic experience?

As an Education Student Lead, you’ll represent students on the issues that matter most — from teaching quality and placements to academic support and student wellbeing. You’ll work closely with students, staff, and university teams to gather feedback, influence change, and help create a better learning experience for everyone.

This role is a great opportunity to build leadership experience, strengthen your CV, meet new people, and develop skills that employers highly value.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Gather student feedback about teaching, learning resources, placements, timetables, and academic support.
• Represent student views in meetings and discussions with university staff.
• Help improve placement experiences by identifying challenges and working on solutions with relevant teams.
• Support students with academic concerns and help raise important issues where needed.
• Lead and support campaigns focused on education, wellbeing, and improving the student experience.
• Encourage students to share their opinions through surveys, forums, and discussions.
• Work with staff and student representatives to create positive changes across the university.
• Help ensure every student feels listened to, supported, and represented.
